Homelessness Programs
- Emergency Solutions Grant - A federal program designed to help people quickly regain stability in permanent housing after a housing crisis.
- Experiencing or At-Risk of Homelessness - Resources to help individuals who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
- Home and Community-Based Services Revolving Loan Program - Program that helps develop and expand health and wellness programs for low-income Iowans.
- Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS - Federal program to help persons diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and their families who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.
- Iowa HOME-ARP Program - Created by the American Rescue Plan (ARP) to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability.
- Iowa Rapid Rehousing Project - Pilot initiative funded from the state’s federal ERA2 program allocation, to help people return to permanent housing.
- Permanent Supportive Housing Fund - Fund to support operational needs for eligible nonprofit PSH providers in good standing with the IFA.
- Shelter Assistance Fund - State-funded program that supports the costs and operations of homeless and domestic violence shelters.
